I have a 6 in one smart card reader that uses what seems to be a mini usb cable. Will this work on a V220 phone?

    I'll try

I have noticed that when people call me the phone does not ring very long like two rings and it goes to voice mail (which I have not setup yet).

I thought that this was due to a short sound clip (1.73kb). I figured if I put a longer song (138 kb bit rate 40 kbps type mp3) on the phone and change my ring to the longer file it would play the whole song b4 going to voice mail.

Is there a way I can make it ring longer (or play the full song b4 going to voice mail ?

    Hope that makes sense

This probably WONT be an option of the ring tone etc. It WILL probably be an option in connection with the voice mail. Somewhere there will be an option of how many rings you get before the phone or carrier DIVERTS the call to voice mail. Your provider will be able to help you with that after a quick phone to to their customer service.

    Hope that makes sense.

Yep its a provider setting. They had it set for 15 sec (maybe 2 rings) I had them up to 30 sec any more and they'll charge me against my minutes.
