I was just wondering if it is possible to use an external hard drive that connects via usb, with your Xbox?? Not for games, but to hold movies and music to be played through xbox media center?? I have a usb to xbox cable that I use a keyboard with, but was wondering if it is possible to use a hard drive in the way I mentioned above. Thanks!!

Noq I know the easy answer would be "plug it in and see" but I packed up my cable because I'm moving, so it won't be available to me for a few weeks. Just wanted to know ahead of time.

It seems that XBMC is very compatible with most USB devices, I've used several mouse and keyboard combinations, I would imagine it would have a basic driver for hard drives and external storage. But you'll never know until you try.
