using generic ink in Epson printers

    I am new and need help. I have an Epson 260 and also an Epson 340 that will not use the generic ink I bought at Super media store. I s there some trick to get my printer to accept this ink? Connieb

    No........... if it doesn't work, contact them, and let them know it doesn't work. They will replace it. Is it all the colors, or just one color? I have an R200. I've had one cartridge not work, and they replaced it. Last two times I've bought ink, I got it here:

    I've been using generic ink for about two years. The only Epson ink I've used in it, was the ink that came with it. :eek:)
