    I dont think u can, I have nero 9 and I cant find a way to convert 8.MVK file to avi or something nero will transcode so I can burn it to DVD. You have to use another program for that. I think its REALLY stupid that its not native to nero but I guess its some kind of contract deal where they dont want to pay the rights.

    @great999,
    You can do it with Nero, however,I would recommend to use AutoGK instead. It is free,straight forward, guide available in the "Guides" section here on AD.
    @me5,
    Are you trying to convert the MKV->AVI->DVD? Forget Nero(you could probably do it using an AviSynth script, a pain in the arse), there are FREE good software that will convert the MKV directly to DVD.

    Thanks for the info, the only problem is I already paid for nero 9. I wish I wrote this before I went ahead and purchased the prog. Is there anything you think nero is good at? (i think nero burning rom is a good prog).

    Thanks,
    Sebastian

    Unfortunately, I doubt you will get much use out of Nero. Most of its functions can be achieved with Excellent free software. Unless you do some video capturing or such, you're not gonna use it for too often.
    I have Nero 7, still use Nero Burning Rom once in a while, although ImgBurn is probably a much better FREE choice.
    Nero has also the possibility of burning on multiple drives at the same time, if for example is something you'd do; or maybe lightscibe?
    Nero Recode is a good application as well, but all its functions could be achieved with DVD Shrink, free again.
