using sdload wit wiikey sd adapter and my gamecube says "object inserted in slot A cannot be used"

    can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? i was pretty sure i had done the procedure right, but apparantly not. i'm using the wiikey sd adapter and a 2GB sandisk sd card. if anyone can help me thanks.

    first of all do u have the gamecube memery card adaptor (called geko adaptor sometimes)?? it looks like this...

    and second did you format the sd cared using the dvddump tool?

    ^^i actually got the thing working. i been loading all my things off of my sd card as emulators were the primary reason i used this. anyways it turns out that it doesnt matter if the gamecube can use it or not. i found it only says that in regards to using the object as a memory card. nothing more. once the sdload code is loaded through AR the adapter and programs stored on it worked. and yeah i do have a adapter. a wiikey brand one.


    anyways thanks for the response, but i seem to be fine for now.

    What are the benefits and drawbacks of using this method?

    How much does the hardware cost?

    I suppose you have to store one or two games to an SD card at a time and then replace with your computer any time you want to play another game?
