Using Wifi On Cellphone w/o Data Plan

    Hi,

    I am going to be going to Europe for a couple of months and I purchased a global SIM that requires a tri or quad band GSM phone. I am thinking of buying a HP iPAQ 6915 or Cingular 8125/8525 because of it's wifi capabilities. However, the SIM card supports no data, so I was wondering if the wifi would still work when I am in a hotspot....

    yes u should be able to just use the wifi connection to browse the web or use email and stuff u might have to change some setting in the browser settings maybe not
