using xbms protocol

    i am wondering if you can play xbox games from a network share, using the smb:/ or the xbms:/..........?

    does anyone know if it possible to play a xbox game from a remote hdd, i never tried the xbms server software and im not sure if i can play games from it, any help is appreciated.

    no, i was hoping you could do this aswell but i was told by higher authority that it wouldnt send the data fast enough and thats probably true.....

    darn it i was hoping it would work

    i was reading an article that says xbms:/ is actually faster for media streaming but i use the smb:/ and it seems to run really quick anyway.

    i was just hoping to use my pc's hdd as a storage device to execute games from an external location but i guess no dice

    i also use smb i stream all my video and music from my computer....and im sure they games would run just not at 100% its like when you mod the gamecube you can stream games but they stream at about 85 95%....
