just because you uninstalled iTunes dosent mean it deleated every thing. It's probebly seeing files in your Program directory so that just incase you reinstall I tunes, you still have all your old info and prefernces.

If you want it totally gone, goto C: - Program files - iTunes (or whatever it's called) and deleate that.

When you say you uninstalled itunes did you run the un installer or just delete the folder? Use "search" to look for any itune files and see whats left hidden on the pc.
Else try cleaning the registry. Take a look at ccleaner
    http://www.ccleaner.com/
It has a nice registry cleaning tool as well as being able to remove all manner of other stuff.

You can also try RegSeeker which has a registry search option. iTunes also hides itself in your My Documents folder.
