Hi.

I am having some problems with Motorola mobile PhoneTools. When I go to configure my phone, it acts fine, but when the loading bar is almost done it will restart back to the starting configure phone window. I don't know what the problem is.

I have a v220 and the USB cable I am using is for my mp3 player, but seems to work fine because when i plug it into my phone windows will try to install it. The version I'm using is 3.40.

 

Have you sucessfully installed the P2K drivers? When you go into Device Manager with the phone plugged in, and then click on Modems, does it say Motorola USB Modem?

Have you done the live update on the Mobile Phone Tools? What version are you running? Other than making sure it's updated, I don't know what else to tell you.

I am using version 3.40.

 

Well, I'm only using v.3.25b so your's is newer, so I don't really know what could be wrong.
