V551 Antenna booster

    I was wondering if there is a product I can attach to my car or boat that will give me a stronger signal. I read somewhere that you can get up to a 3 watt booster legaly. Does anyone have any info on this?

    I use a Wilson Dual Band Magnet Mount external antenna. It works really good but the amplifiers to make the signal go even farther are like $200-$400. But this all that I know about hot to make your signal better on a boat or what not.
