vaio crashed

    hey guys i have a sony vaio pcv rz14g and it recently crashed on me when i start it up it says disk boot failure,insert system disk and press enter so i insert the system recovery disk and hit enter it takes me to the system restore menu and then it gives me a error that says error occurred while partiotoning drive c any idea on ow to fix these any help would be appreciated thanks

    moved to correct forum as not a windows issue. does the computer see the hard drive?
