Does anyone know where I can download Vampire Hunter D? The first movie, not Blood Lust.

    Thanks,
    Trigun

Vampire Hunter D is a copyrighted film and thus your question is going to get you in trouble chief. Forum rules forbid any questions relating to piracy.

On another note both Vampire Hunter D films are two of the best animes ever made (I've got them both) and well worth the investment.

Take care you spikey-haired chick magnet ;)

I mainly stick with the old-school anime although I've been buying some of the newer stuff for my 14 yr old niece who's a budding anime nut :) Here's a list of what I own:

Akira Special Edition 2-Disc w/ metal tin
Crying Freeman - Vol. 1: Portrait Of A Killer
Crying Freeman - Vol. 2: A Taste Of Revenge
    Ghost In The Shell
GenoCyber: The Collection (just released, got it yesterday)
    Golgo 13: Queen Bee
    The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor - Vol. 1
    The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor - Vol. 2
    Ninja Scroll
    Ninja Resurrection
    Urotsukidoji: Legend Of The Overfiend
    Vampire Hunter D
    Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust

So far I've bought my niece the Trigun 3-disc complete collection, Princess Mononoke and Witch Hunter Robin.

Fist Of The North Star is on my 'get very soon' list.

What are some of your favorites?

I'm also a huge Akira Kurosawa fan and own all his films that Criterion put out. All anime fans owe it to themselves to at least watch "The Seven Samurai".
