I converted several .avi files to .vbo using ConvertXtoDVD. Then burnt them using Nero Version 6.6. The picture quality is fine and they play on my DVD player. The only problem is there is a pause in the video every 10-30 seconds. I burnt it at a speed of 8x. Should I try at a slower rate? Can anyone solve this problem? Thankyou in advance.

A few questions, and then we can help solve your problem.

What is the rest of the Nero version number? (should be something like 6.6.0.18)

What brand (Sony, TDK, Fuji, etc.) brand of media are you using?

Are you using -R or +R media?

What is the make and model of your burner?

Nero Suite 3. I don't know what version of Nero i'm using. It just says Nero 6.

I burnt it with Ritek DVD+R.

    My burner is a Pioneer-110.

Can you post a Nero log? That will answer all my questions better.

There have been some problems reported with the new Ritek's. Again, I can tell better with a log.

You can try and burn at 4X and see if that will help. If you don't mind the possibility of "wasting" a disc.

Edit: Here is the path to find the log:

    C:/ProgramFiles/Ahead/Nero/NeroHistory.log
