I just got nero 7 ultra edition and was trying to burn an avi file to vcd. The burn went fine, but when i tested it in a DVD player, the movie plays like its in slow motion, and of course the audio is out of sync. Even in the Nero Vision preview its in "slow motion".

The video plays fine on Winamp and Windows Media Player. So I tried terminating most backround process, but that didn't work. Then I figured it was something with the Divx codec and unchecked some things, but that didn't work. Can know what is going on? Any help is very very appreciated. THanks

Did Nero create a menu for the VCD?
I find that my DVD players will not move off the menu screen and my media player on the PC crashes also..so I just tell Nero, no menu.

Note, I'm only referring to a problem with VCD and not SVCD.

Thanks for the quick reply. No, I selected not to create the menus from the beginning. This is only happening with AVI files because I tried a MPG file and it burned fine. I'm using quality disks, Im not doing any other tasks, I have a good burner and system, so I don't know what next to do. The first time I tried it was with 2 seperate files and thought maybe that had something to do with it, but any single AVI file does this...???

Thanks attar!I tried what was suggested in that thread and...presto it worked. I was so stoked when it was running smooth during the preview and then I knew that the burn would turn out fine. This was bugging me all day yesterday. Once again, thanx alot attar really appreciate it man.
