Greetings. I wonder if anyone can help me. I regularly make video CDs with Nero, usually without problems. Now, all of a sudden, every time I try to edit a video file, I get an error message. "Nerovision.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the programe". I first thought there was a problem with the video files, but it is even doing this with files I have all ready edited successfully just a few days ago. I have checked for viruses, spyware and adware, I have re-installed all of the updates, I have re-booted the computer several times, all to no avail. Of course this might not be a problem with nero, it might be with windows, but it is only (so far) Nero that I am having problems with. Has anybody come accross this problem before and if so how was it resolved?

Create a new project and add a video file, then try to edit it to see what will happen. By the way, which version of NVE you are using?

I have tried that, a few times, all with the same problem. I am using NVE 3.1.0.16.

Have you ever tried NVE-2? NVE-3 has so many bugs you can not believe. I used to upgrade NVE from 2 to 3, but now I am still using NVE-2.

Well, that seemed to work, Thanks. Also cleared another problem that I never mentioned. Trouble is now I've lost the Photosnap part of the program, wich I really liked. Still, a bit of P2Ping and I'm sure I'll get it back. Thanks again.

Or maybe I won't. Dowloaded 2 versions now, neither worked. Getting the feeling that it doesn't work as a standalone application. Anyone know how to get Photosnap to work on its own? Or know any good substitutes?
