vcd has .DAT file

    Hi, ok i`m new at all this, so hope somebody can help me.

    i have a film spread over 2 VCDs i want to put them on to 1 DVD, but the biggest files on the disks are .dat files NOT mpeg (did a search no mpeg/avi on the disk at all), i play the .dat and it plays the movie..

    is there anyway i can join them together and make into one complete film again?

    You should be able to treat the DATs as MPG but if not, grab a free proggie, VCDGear to do the convesrion. :)
