Now I have a question. Now I am encoding my lord of the rings 2 movie and I wan't to encode it to dvd. I know that it is possible to copy movies (3 hours long or more) on 9 gb dvd's to 5 gb dvd's. So is it also possible to burn my lord of the rings 2.mpg (3 hours long) (encode whit tmpgenc to dvd mpg) too my dvd r 5 gb. I don't know this for sure because on the dvr is written: 120 minutes. But I think it still must be possible beacause it is possible too to copy dvd r 9 to dvdr 5. And the movies on dvr 9 discs are longer than 120 minutes.

Of course it is possible, in TMPGEnc, click file - project wizard, check a couple of the templates you can use and you'll find one that will burn a lot onto a dvd-r!
