I burnt an MPEG1 to a VCD with Nero. It said it burnt succesfully but when I go to play it in my DVD player it says "no disk" or just doesn't play it :(
Am I burning it on to the right kind of disc? I used a CD-R disc so it should have worked.. right? Any suggestions?

Well First do you Burn it in VCD Mode or as a Data CD?? it has to be burnt in VCD Mode...And does your DVD Player Support VCD?? most these Days do...And dometimes some DVD Players do not like Some Brands of CD-R"s or do not Like VCD"s that have been Burnt at too High of a Speed, You should allways Burn VCD"s at the Slowest Speed possible Like 4X or 8X this is because VCD"s and SVCD"s have to Error Correction Data and the Faster you Burn the More errors the VCD will have....Good Luck
