SO I'm sitting here trying to decide whether I should risk burning a few episodes of this one show to cd-rw(I'd like to erase them later after rewatching them). Anyone know if a VCD that is burnt on cd-rw can be rewritten later? Or is it a closed disk like when you burn an ISO file or other such thingies...?

yes I know but certain things that are burned on cd-rw(such as finalizing an audio cd or burning an iso image) can't be erased, at least in my experience, and I was wondering if vcd is one of those things...

You should be able to erase any data you write on to it including VCD files. Why not do a test to be 100% sure.
