Hi, I recently bought a dvd+/-R, +/-RW with some dvd-r 4x disks. My questions are what can I use to save some vhs tapes to the dvd-r? I have a capture card that can save at many different settings ( mpeg-1, mpeg-2, avi, vcd, svcd,dvd). Is it possible? I have searched for this information on this site but I'm too n00b to understand all of the info. It seems that you can record and convert all sorts of file types so I would like to see if there is a way to save time by saving it to the right file type the first time. All I want to do is put all the vhs tapes(4.5 hrs total run time) onto 1 or 2 dvd's. Thanks for any help and thanks for the patience.
