I am at wits end with this one. I use studio 8 to create, edits my home movies. When I am finished editing, I go to make movie. Here I get the option "make disk" and then I select "VCD". Studio then goes and does its stuff - rendering and then the burner starts burning. I use Nero here. When the disk is finished and I go to play it in the PC I get a message that windows does not support the format. In fact windows (XP Pro) cannot read the disk at all. Even Nero tells me that it is a blank CD. However the same disk will play in my stand alone dvd player and therefore it does have info on it. Who can help me.
go here http://elecard.com/download/ and download the free mpeg player. This player works for vcd and svcd disks. With this player you don't even need to use your dvd rom to play it, it will work with a regular cd rom.
