i have 2 cd's of VCD and the 2nd doesn't play the whole movie. the movie should play 45 minutes but it's only playing 42 minutes. when it comes to the 42nd minute, the movie keep on playing but the minutes stuck in 42 minutes. the problem doesn't happened in PowerDVD, but PowerDVD doesn't support external subtitles so it doesn't help much. my problem is, that in those 3 minutes i have a few sentences that cannot appear. i know it was long... but big 10x for the helpers...
are your vcd's infact actually svcd's? and are you playing these on your standalone dvd player when the problem happens? if that's correct, it could be that the movie was too compressed(to 2 cd's instead of maybe 3) and your player doesn't like the bitrate.
