Hi, I have alot of vcd's and just got a dvd writer and want to convert them to dvd. I downloaded (s)vcd2dvd mpeg and svcd2dvd, but don't know how to rip my vcd's to a file to convert to dvd. I'm not to puter savey, but once I've done one it should be no problem. I've had some people tell me this can also be done w/ nero express which I have but don't see how it can be done. Thanks in advance for any help.
simple goto www.elby.ch download CloneDVD Virtual Drive install it - Restart, then right click on your VCDs .BIN file and select open - it will open in the virtual drive then you simply open the virtual drive go into the mpeg folder copy the mpeg file to your computer then use mainconcept mpeg encoder to encode the file to DVD standard - then open ti with Tmpegenc DVD author and make it a DVD, that will re-encode then burn Phew, there you go problem solved
