vcdeasy error fread (): I/O error

    I have a movie thats on a cd-r and its svcd and i was going to do the vcd header trick so my dvd player could play it but when i go to rip it from cd with vcdeasy i get the following error message: fread (): I/O error. Can someone please help me, I have no idea what this error message means. Thanx in advance.

    You should be able to copy the disc directly 'on the fly' with Nero for example. Just use the CD copy option. Don't forget that most DVD players will also play SVCD if they already play VCD.

    Far from the truth m8, especially dealing with older home dvd players.

    @vjp8169,
    If I'm not mistaken,I believe you use TMPGEnc to do the "vcd header trick". I'll move this thread over to the VCD SVCD forum as I know Dela (Mod) has the answer to your question.
