VCR to DVD

    OK! So I have the Gear and some software; Nero, Video MAte, ULead etc. Now I can get my VCR up on Screen but how do I record it to DVD??

    Thats a post I made awhile ago. I would highly recommend VirtualDub over all other programs; and I have used a few Nero included. Why? Because it uses less system resources which gives you the best chance of your recording have its audio remain in-sync with the video.

    VirtualDub will save the video as a .avi usually in the divx or xvid codec. Then you can open this up with DVD Flick which will convert the avi to DVD format for you and then burn it to disc.

    Just consider me a "Confused Irishman. :) You know the one that was put in a room full of Shovels and told to take his pick :)
    I will search for the prog you have mentioned and take it a little at a time. This is what happens to someone that has been a labourer all his life and takes up Computer at the end :)

    Shees! Remember the Old Confused Irishman>> VirtualDub , for what it's worth, looks like a good program but you gotta remember that I am not the one that writes the Software for NASA> LOL. Shees! I'm gunna have to got to Uni'
