OK! So I have the Gear and some software; Nero, Video MAte, ULead etc. Now I can get my VCR up on Screen but how do I record it to DVD??
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/370746 Thats a post I made awhile ago. I would highly recommend VirtualDub over all other programs; and I have used a few Nero included. Why? Because it uses less system resources which gives you the best chance of your recording have its audio remain in-sync with the video. VirtualDub will save the video as a .avi usually in the divx or xvid codec. Then you can open this up with DVD Flick which will convert the avi to DVD format for you and then burn it to disc. Here is a youtube video that supposedly shows "How to use VirtualDub to Capture Video" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWAsFd0aMSA DVD Flick: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_flick.cfm
