VCR: When Playing There is Sound but cannot get Picture

    Hey, I have a Toshiba VCR.

    the other day i tried playing an old video and the screen had quite a lot of lines so i tried adjusting the tracking. it didnt get better so i gave up.

    however, now when i play a video i get perfect sound but lines across the screen and no picture. its like the tracking is way out but no matter how much i adjust it it doesnt change.
    the VCR also has Auto-Tracking which it says it's doing when i press play.

    this is making me think that its not the tracking.
    i run it through a Scart cable. could it be this?

    it's meant to clean its heads but i heard that sometimes this isnt good enough. could this be the problem?

    or is it something else???

    please please help, its really frustrating.

    Buy a head cleaner,if this doesnt work if its an old vcr your heads maybe nackerd
