8.99 for a 50 pk, not bad...but I would be interested to hear if these are the GOOD verbatims...or no. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=170349 as always, thanks!
i have used verbatim cd-r and dvd-r discs with no problems whatsoever - not even a faulty one in a 100 spindle! they are good reliable media.
I just bought a load of Verbatim x52. I've had two burns go horribly wrong. When I tried another round with some Phillips disks I got at a huge discount they came out perfectly. I'm not sure if it's an issue with that AZO dye they use or if it's just a bad batch of disks but these are the only disks I've bought that I've had to make coasters of on my current burner. Just thought you should be aware.
i should imagine that it was a possible faulty batch, unless its is an incompatbility issue, i do know verbs wont work on my mates nec drive (not sure of model). i have used over 500 cd-r and dvd-r from verbatim with not 1 fault. i think anybody looking for new media should buy trial packs of various brands of media and see which suits ther drive best - i did.
