Just picked up 100 Verbatim 52x CD-Rs from Office Max. I was thinking they would be MCC coded but they are Prodisc 97m32s19f. Are these any good? Whats your opinions . Will be using them for music and data/pictures.

Prodisc is a very good manufacturer. If the discs are compatible with your drive--and they should be--they will produce excellent recordings.

Prodisc is a manufacturer in Taiwan. There are three good quality manufacturers in Taiwan: CMC, Ritek, and Prodisc. All three pay royalties and make media for well known brand names. Optodisc is another manufacturer, but they concentrate on rewritable discs such as DVD-RAM.
