I have tried burning dvd on my HP medica center i have one dvd writer on this computer maddog brand but it wont record all dvd-r i put in there some get rejected for some reason. while other get recorded with no problem? i tried this other brand from Microcenter called WINDATA DVD-r 8x and this record beautifully i have done 10 burns and so far no rejects.? anyone else experience this issues/ gterobert@yahoo.com
You may have an older drive that rejects discs rated at 16X but will accept those rated at 8X or slower. What model drive do you have and what firmware version is in it?
