Hi, im "rat'ing" now dvds for month with more or less errors or problems. For a dvd freak like me its the mother of all programs and i've tried a lot since the upcoming of dvds. With the using of ratdvd i am reading all relating boards and i have noticed that there are only a very few threads where people have praising words about this very usefull and free tool. Sure there are quite a lot problems with the using, i went bersek a few times by myself, but lets thank splinter and his crew in this thread for their great work. Keep on "rat'ing"!
i must agree. i see where alot of people are having problems though. im not sure why. the technique i use is put in a disc i have already backed up and it hasnt failed yet.
Hi, Just began my introduction with this program and have to agree with the prior comments of all the programs that have been "around" for sometime none of them seem to catch the essence of the need. Either very technical, partial solutions, limited execution of each function. This program does: 1. The "raw" type of video capture allowing it to scale to different resolutions, monitors and aspect ratios has been missed by many and it handles it well. Very important for multi system play both computer and television. 2. The concept of the full DVD seems to elude all others for some reason. 3. The challenge is playback. Hopefully UPNP support exists or will exist thus making the device available to any system both computer and consumer.
