I just got verizon dsl for my home i have 2 coputer and have it they are connect wireless throug linksys.The main comptuer connects a 100mbps... i connect at 11mbps.I'm on the 11mbps computer and my downloads are at 2.0kbs.Also i cannt connect to any online multiplayer games.Is it because of the linksys if so how can i fix it?
a wireless connection at 100MBps. Are you sure, current wireless is only around the 44MBps, or am i wrong? Sounds like a T-Base 100 connection you are running. It should really affect your download speeds, but multiplayers may be affected by the router/firewall in your wirelss system
i have my wireless network set up lie that too......My first computer that is 100 MBps is actually connected through ethernet cables (the cord goes through the modem to the router and then to the computer and that computer is not wireless) and the second computer is connected wireless. It is at 11 MBps (it goes through a USB adapter.
