I have been able to convert my VHS to a DVD following Minions advice without any dropped frames or audio out of sync it is flawless. My question is how many VHS can I put on one DVD? Is there a way to compress a VHS to fit on a DVD? Thanks

When you capture from the VCR, you have options on how to capture, sometimes. You may have the option to capture via avi file or mpeg2 file. Choose the avi. mpeg2 is compressed.

At any rate, figure that you will get 1 hour of high quality video on a DVD. Home video technology can't be compared to what you get on a retail movie DVD with respect to the size of the movie that you get on a DVD. The technology for us, just isn't there.
