Any equipment out there to get this "Inteference"/"Static".Etc.,out? Its only on part of the Tape.I saw Amazon UK has DVD ,but would like to repair/restore it? Thanks Also,I used to have a Maxell Tape Cleaner cassette. Are they OK?
Most of this kind of problem is general tape wear, tape crease, and/or edge damage affecting the tracking . I doubt whether there's much you can do. Play the bad part, get the tape out of the player and open the flap. (don't touch the tape with your hand) Any obvious damage? You might be better off transferring it into the computer and cleaning it digitally. Regarding cleaning cassettes, I'd use them very carefully, if at all. Most of them are too harsh and will damage the video/audio heads. I had a quick look in the edonkey p2p network and found this: http://www.figator.com/search/gary+moore+blues+greeny/::rd:7,9,16,29,30,31,40,45
