VHS to DIVX

    hi can anyone recommend any software that will allow me to convert straight from vhs to divx

    How are you planning to hook up your VHS to your computer?

    i have the vcr hooked up to the tv card a Sparkle tv card version V4.30-9X TV . i use the programe video wave version 2, however it doesnt at times recognise divx 5 although i do have this on the pc.

    so i need a decent tv capture programme to do my work with that will not crash and be able to cope with maybe doing a capture of a maximum 4 hours worth of video tape

    occasionally when i am about 15 mins into a tape it freezes and crashes despite there been pleny of harddrive space available
