I have a major issue with the version 2.0 of VHS to DVD. The program will record straight from the TV input to the DVD and the disk will play properly. However, whenever I try to record from a vhs tape to dvd, the disk WILL not play in the dvd recorder. I get a disk error in the standard dvd player when I try to play the disks. I have reinstalled Windows several times, installed the patch they offer on their website and still have no luck playing the disks recorded from tapes. Honestech tells me that it is a hardware issue and I don't think that is accurate. I'm running XP with SP 2, 1 gig of ram, and I can't think of any other issues. I would appreciate any help possible. Further testing has shown that disks will play in the computers, but not on the stand alone dvd players.
