How can I take two hours of vhs format and fit on one single layer dvd with good quality? dvdxcopy takes two hours of video and fits it on a single layer dvd disc with good quality. I have dvdxmaker which can capture the video from a vcr through my digital camcorder on the HD. But dvdxcopy 4.0.4.15 which has a browser function does not see the video file on the hard drive. DVD Shrink does not see any of my captured video files from roxio or Sonic MyDVD.

    (1) Sonic MyDVD doesn't recognize the files either? Can't you make DVDs from video files using that program? (2) Could you please specify what format your analog-video-to-digital files are? (I assume .mpg?) The more info you can give, the better.

Sonic My DVD produces MPEG-2 files. The videos I want to make are over two hours at high quality. I would like to fill up a 4.7 Gig disc wqith the hihest quality possible the way that DVD Shrink does it. DVD Shrink does not see the Sonic My DVD files.
