hello there, i dont have this knowledge in video cards. Actually i have a desktop computer Hp pavilion a805n ( http://www.bizrate.com/desktopcomputers/productcomparison/index__pid-255498324--on__pid-7581881--on__pid-7586759--on.html) I added 512 mb ram to it. But heres the complicated part, i have a Nvidia GeForce 4 MX440-8x 64 Mb DDR video card and i want to put it in my hp is that possible??? do i need to get other stuff? thank you
I think the answer is no. If I remember right the 805n has intergrated video. Normaly could be disabled to put in a replacement card. But the 805n has no agp slot which is what the card you are wanting to put in it is. Again this is from memory of an 805n I worked on a while back and I could be remembering wrong.
hmm.. you're right. So should i buy a PCI video card? is that possible like to plug the new video card and disable the "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900" ?
ah okay i should get a new vc because Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 is really bad for gaming =/ i think a nvidia 128 pci will be good
im not the most seasoned veteran on video card buying suggested, but if you are looking for a gaming card, i dont think a 128 mb card will do you much good. most games i see require at least a 256 card. so thats the minimum card i would get.
