I did a quick search, but not sure that the results i found were my exact same problem, so sorry if it's repeated.

    I am using Nero 6, and i have a 320 x 200 avi i wanted to put onto DVD.
Playback looks fine on computer, but on tv, the sides are cut off.

Tried converting to MPG as well, but still the same thing happened in the end.

I chose 4:3 as the ratio both times, and the tv isn't widescreen, so i guess it's 4:3 setting?

Once, i let it do automatic, but that came out the same too.

I've just had a quick look on the net and i think my video may be in 1.6 or 8:5 ratio, i'm wondering how to get it to fit on a tv screen without weird stretching or squishing?

Don't really mind black borders as long as the main video part isn't tiny.

    Thanks

Is the avi NTSC or PAL?

    hi :)
i would suggest that you convert your avi files first with ConvertXtoDvd (which costs) or Dvd Flick (free) and then burn with your preffered burner

ConvertX has its own burn engine and will auto burn when the files are converted....DvdFlick needs a separate burn prog
