my videos are still freezing after installing the 1.0 firmware. they seemed to be fine for a while but they freeze somewhere after 3 minutes. one of the star wars movies went for 45 minutes before and never froze...but today, another star wars movie froze every 3.5 minutes or so. is anyone else having these problems with the 1.0 firmware???
I have never had this problem! What program are you useing to rip the videos off the DVD? I use PQ DVD and it works great!
Lethal - i'm using DVD Decrypter to rip the dvd onto the HD and then using jodix ipod video converter to convert over to mp4. i also have converted a number of VCD movies with jodix. the converted movies play fine in quicktime on my PC, and sometimes they play fine in the iPod...but for some reason they still pause every now and then and lose sound like with the 1.1 firmware
