I just bought a new game for my PC (Grand thief auto IV) and it is saying that my Video memory is too low.How do i get more video memory so i can play the game. Please help ASAP
First off i have a Dell Inspiron 1720 Windows Vista Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) dual CPU T2330 @ l.60GHz 2.00 GB RAM Mobile Intel(R) 96 Express chipset Family the game requires Windows vista Processor: Intel core 2 duo 1.8GHz or AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz Memory: 1.5GB Vista, 16 GB free hard space Video Card: 256MB NVIDIA 7900/ 256MB ATI X1900 I was wondering can i download ATI X1900 or can i change my video card if so how?
your problem is that your pc is a laptop not a tower so only thing that can be upgraded is ram, hard drive & maybe cpu but most definitly not the onboard intergrated videocard. you can assign more ram to the videocard from main ram but that is about all you can do. videocard shares main ram as doesn't have own so to add more ram to videcard then go into bios & up the memory assigned to videocard.
