I am using a dvd writer (hp dvd300e) as my driver. I use DVD Decryptor to rip the DVD. I then use DVD2ONE to shrink it and Nero 5.5 to burn it. However I ran into two problems...

I get a warning messege that says compliance test failed (before I start burning) when using a DVD+RW. When using a DVD+R this didn't happen. Also the DVD+R worked and when I finish burning the DVD+RW (ignoring the warning) it will not work. First how can I get this problem fixed?

Second, I have video, but no audio? I went back and checked the files from when they were ripped and they do not have audio either. How can I fix this and keep audio through this entire process. If anyone can just give me a walk through of the DVD burning process using DVD Decryptor, DVD2ONE, and Nero 5.5 on a DVD+RW that would great!

You put an empty folder on the DVD called AUDIO_TS
I assume? If not, that's your problem.

So should I put the empty folder on there or not? There isn't anything to go in the folder. Also should I put all the files from shrinking my DVD into the Video_TS folder?

All your files go in the VIDEO_TS folder. Just also put an empty foler called AUDIO_TS in along with the VIDEO_TS folder. (not in the VIDEO_TS one, just beside it.)

And be sure to use the CAPS and the underscore.
