hello, i have an avi that runs with a .idx and .sub files. when i play it back, the video is not blank, there is a picture. but whenever a subtitle appears, the video dissapears and only the subtitle is visable along with a thin line of the video around the borders. i have tried reinstalling vobsub and several codecs, and i cannot seem to figure out the issue. can anyone help me discover what the issue is?
DirectVobSub was moved from VOBSub to VSFilter some years ago, so I would suggest using that. You might also want to check your direct-x/video card drivers.
