I converted a .mpg video inside ITUNES using the 'convert selection to IPod" option and it created a .mov file. It then let me copy it to my IPOD, but the video plays, but I get no audio.

What can I do to correct this??

Take a look at Lethal_B or my guide to convert mpg files to iPod mp4 format, then drag to iTunes and transfer to your iPod.

Yea, you don't generally want to use the converter built into iTunes. It just doesn't work quite right. If you don't want to spend any money on a converter you can try Videora's iPod Converter. Lethal has a guide on how to use it here:

You just have to scroll down some to get to it. Also if that doesn't work, what kind of iPod do you own [30gig Video iPod or 60gig Video iPod] and what firmware are you using? You can check this in the iPod under settings and then 'about'.

I have the 30G Ipod, and my version is 1.1.1. I tried the videora on a video, and got the same result...trying a few more.... thanks for your help.
