Hi, I am trying to multiplex my .m2v and .ac3 files with tmpgenc dvd author and by accident when i encoded my avi into .m2v i forgot to put the maximum GOP to 18 (for ntsc) how would i change this without re-incoding, thanks.

Well the only thing I can suggest is to try the "Gop Fixer" tool that comes built into "Womble Mpeg2VCR" which is supposed to Fix Non-DVD Compliant GOP"s and Sequence headers and other errors in Mpeg streams.....
But if that doesn"t work then I can only suggest that you start over again but this time make sure your settings are Correct....

When encodeing you can expect to get Better quality if you use a Smaller GOP...I generally use a Gop of from 9 to 12 frames which gives better quality than an 18 frame Gop and is still 100% DVD Compliant...When Captureing to Mpeg-2 with a Capture device I usually set my GOP as Low as 3 Frames which gives much better results than a large GOP but with a slight Increase in file size....

    Cheers
