Video shows pink and green on computer.

When someone sends me some kind of media that contains a video.The color seems to be distorted.Even while watching abc news live on the computer it also shows pink and green.But dvd movies shows perfect.So how can I correct this problem.THANK YOU

 

What software, media, and device are you working with?

 

I thought that K-lite code pack for media would help.But it doesn,t.Or how do you get a media code to work? A media code is to help your computer media player from distorion right.I have real player.But how can I open my email to play in real player maybe.Hopefully it would take out the pink and green color.That the abc news live play in. THANK YOU

 

this happened to me.If u installed the ace mega codecs pack or k-lite codec pack this will happen.Installing these also uninstalls the windows media player dvd decoder so the only way to fix this is to put ur pc back to factory settings
