Hey does anyone know if I can put a full movie into the ipod if it has 30gb in it?? I've been looking around the forum but I can't find any instructions on how to convert a movie into a mpg4 file. I also have another question, is a DIVx file the same as a Mpg4 file. Or if anyone knows how to do this can you please let me know because thats the main reason I want to buy one, so I can watch a movie while I work.
yeah u can put a full dvd movie in the ipod. Use a program called Nero recode 2, that will change the format to mp4....when you got the program and you have the file analyzed...click next--->click on advance--->click on quicktime compiablity--->then burn----->enjoy on the Ipod
The DivX media format is based on avi and is not the same thing as mp4. DivX is however (other than packed bitstream) MPEG-4 compliant. The iPod supports SP only though.
