I bought a DVD and tried to back it up, so I could preserve the original and just play the copy. My backup produced two folders that don't play. One folder is called "Audio_TS" and contains no files. The other folder is called "Video_TS" and contains three "Video_TS" files and eight "VTS_??_?" files. How do I convert these files and folders to something I can play?

What player did you use to try and play the VOB files? If you tried WMP and don't have a mpeg2 codec installed( or FFDShow), it will not play. Install FFDShow and it will play when you double-click on any of the files contained in the Video_TS folder.
