    Hi

I have read the tutorials above on conversion of files for ipod use. I have DVDs in VIDEO_TS folders which are split into various VOB files. First question is can I convert all of the VOB files into one ipod compatable file for viewing on the ipod? Secondly, I have tried to convert them individually but the quality afterwards is poor - either the sound is out of sync or else its not the characters of the film I hear but someone like the director narrating over the film? Is this a common problem or am I just unlucky?

    Cheers

I haven't seen a way for Videora to merge them into one file, but you can use DVD Shrink to create one VOB (turn off the "split file into 1GB chunks" feature in the preferences menu) and then use videora on that. Also, using shrink you can take out the extra sound files, subtitles, and all that other crap, may help fix your other problem.
