Hi, i have had no problems putting videos onto my iPod video until now. I was using PQDVD to convert my movies from the .VOB to the iPod video. But now im converting them from .avi to iPod using Xilisoft, using Xilisoft because PQDVD shut itself down when i try to convert .avi using it. It converts them ok, but when i go to add them to my iTunes library and then to my iPod it wont do it, the files dont come up in the library at all. Anyone know why?

Hi nick, hope all is going ok, my friend.

Try shortening the length of the name of the video (you can always reduce it once you have imported it).

If that doesn't work, please post back.

    Cheers

No worries. That's probably one of the mose commonly asked questions in here -- I think it has been done purposely by Apple to dissuade people from transcoding their own videos & instead purchase from iTunes!

    Simple but effective..

    Enjoy!!
