Ya know what I think about this whole less violence in games it's B.S. Because it has been there for a while and I grew up playing violent games and there is nothing destructive about me.
And the SEX part I understand a little but banning games like GTA San Andreas in California. COME ON. those people who have that stuff to say need a life.

i don't think they banned them, did they! i thought they just made it illegal for under 18's to buy it. which the rest of the world has been doing for years.

i agree though. my first console was the mega drive. mortal combat was brutal. loved it so much i thought i was sub zero and bashed my mum over the head with an ice cube ;)

i hvae nothing against anything that happens in videogames. hey! its what makes em fun.

now, when my child runs out, hacks some homeless guy to death with a giant sword and fks his mother, THEN i'll be worried.

videogames don't kill people.: the US government does

I think that most of the people who have a problem with video games don't know Jack about gaming and wouldn't know their [bold]start button[/bold] from a hole in the ground. It appears that the majority of these more moral than thou people believe games are evil only because that's what they have been told by leaders of the hater brigade. Too many people would not even dream of being open-minded and maybe actually "gasp" playing a video game. A large number of these people do not even begin to know what it means to think for themselves.
Personally, I can't watch violent movies as they make me physically ill. I think that movies are much worse than games, simply because movies are much more realistic. Even in the most violent games, there really is not much doubt that it's only a stupid game. It's no different than when the game-haters played "cops and robbers" when they were kids.
It may seem like it would be nice to live in a [bold]Brady Bunch - Leave It To Beaver[/bold] kind of world, but the fact is this world is a disgustingly violent place. You do no one any favors by pretending this isn't the case. You may, however, save someones life by preparing them for that unfortunate truth.

    I agree too
Most of those people who have a problem with violence are people in their late 30s and probably most of them have never played a game and experienced the adrenalin that you get from games like the Resident Series.
